Thirty (30) NCEA Implementation Facilitators are sought nationally. They will work as three wider regional teams (takiwā), and be based in regional offices

From the description

The right candidate will be able to act strategically and exert influence, using their outstanding facilitation skills to bring to life our national implementation strategy.They will possess high levels of competency in Pou Hono, Pou Mana, and Pou Kipa – valuing Māori, having knowledge of Māori context, and achieving equitable education outcomes for Māori. They will also offer:

  • Secondary teaching qualification and middle management experience.
  • A thorough understanding of the NCEA qualification.
  • Experience facilitating groups with diverse participants.
  • Interest in building their knowledge and capability in te reo Māori and tīkanga Māori
  • Ability to operate at pace and succeed in an ever-changing environment. 
  • Experience leading and implementing change. 
  • Leadership experience, particularly ‘influencing without positional power’.
