Accord Teacher Only Days 2021 for secondary schools
The first Accord Teacher Only Day 2021 supporting the implementation of the NCEA Change Programme begins today.When Where

13 May Auckland, Canterbury
18 May Nelson/Marlborough/West Coast, Bay of Plenty/Rotorua/Taupō
19 May Waikato, Hawke’s Bay/Gisborne
20 May Tai Tokerau, Taranaki/Whanganui/ManawatūThis is an opportunity for you and your secondary school teachers to engage on the details, purpose and progress of two of the changes that we are implementing to strengthen NCEA – Mana ōrite mō te mātauranga Māori and the mandatory Te Reo Matatini me te Pāngarau | Literacy and Numeracy standards that we are introducing as a co-requisite to the NCEA qualification from 2023.

The other two dates for Auckland in 2021 are
- August 10 with a focus on the Level 1 standards review
- November 25 with a focus on local curriculum design
